What’s coming next from Brussels for golf?

The stock of EU legislation on the environment continues to grow. Golf is vulnerable to significant future changes imposed by new laws originating from the EU. Key elements of the golf industry, such as water, fertiliser, use of pesticides, waste and machinery, are all likely to be subject to further EU regulation. A key challenge for all in the golf sector will be to ensure that future EU legislative developments do not prevent sustainable golf course development and management.
